About Us

Not surprisingly, Cover Your Skin Inc. was first born in 2008 by a couple of friends from upstate NY who went on a pub crawl. For this pub crawl we needed to make some t-shirts so we could effectively represent. One of the crawl members being an artist, and the other being a graphic designer, set out to work. The more they researched the design process, and what exciting and borderline inappropriate things they could force their fellow pub crawlers to wear on that special day, the more the concept intrigued them. They soon realized there are lots of people who enjoy pushing the boundaries of what is considered appropriate attire, and who better to help set that standard. The idea wasn't a plan to get rich $15 at a time, or to blow the interwebs away with our unmatched genius... but we did. And by get rich I mean "make verry little to almost no money at all" and by blow away the interwebs I mean "go pretty much unnoticed in the vast sea of internet t-shirt companies". And so the saga begins:
